Professor Pendo is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and also the Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of KCMC University Teaching Hospital. He has extensive experience practicing clinical medicine, formulating treatment guidelines, leading research projects, capacity building of local health care providers and has mentored and supervised hundreds of medical students and resident doctors.
Occupational Therapist
Laura is an Occupational Therapist with 8 years clinical experience in cultural settings such as the UK, Papua New Guinea, Malawi and Sierra Leone. She first volunteered with MOTO in Malawi in 2017-18, as it aligned with her passion of creating sustainable and accessible rehabilitation services in low resource countries. She also capacity builds and leads a team of occupational therapy assistants, called Family Support Workers, at the World Hope International, in Sierra Leone.
